Free nuggets of wisdom...
Because I have learned a lot in my life, I have some things to share that I have learned this week...
1. Do not, under any circumstances, bake bacon on a cookie sheet. A grease fire will start. You will have to throw flour on it because, thankfully for whatever reason, all that flashes through your mind in that moment is "Never put water on a grease fire!" The smoke detector will go off and wake your napping baby. You will have to clean the oven out every single day because the smoke detector will go off every time you bake because you didn't get the grease out. You'll have to yank it out of the wall to get it to stop and make your husband put it back in because you're too short.
2. As much as you love pumpkin, you must follow recipes when baking with pumpkin. No matter how good pumpkin is, if you add more than the recipe calls for your muffins, pancakes, etc. will be pumpkin puddles.
3. If you don't have a Bumbo, the sink works just as well. Ignore the dirty sports bra, please.
